Love Is Blind Brazil Season 3 Review: The Netflix dating reality show is produced by Endemol Shine Brazil and directed by Cássia Dian. Returning as hosts again, Camila Queiroz and Klebber Toledo will be guiding the couples throughout the journey of finding the one they want to settle with.
The premise of the show is the same, where various individuals try to form a connection without ever seeing each other. Solely through the interactions in the pods, they must decide to get engaged with one another & then only they get to see each other for the first time. Then the couples proceed to their honeymoon; this season it will be at the beautiful beach of Pipa, in Rio Grande do Norte. By having a kind of trial marriage & living together, they will decide if they eventually want to get married or not.
There were a number of contestants this season as well and among them, the youngest age would be 26. The contestants were Karen Bacic, Daniela Silva, Maria Carolina Caporusso, Ágata Moura, Bianca Sessa, Daniel Manzoni, Renan Justino, Valmir Reis, Jarbas Andrade, Menandro Rosa, Carlos Ramos, Tatiana Rigotti, Eduardo Froner, Renata Mendes, Gabriele Damiano, Patricia Medeiros, Barbara Santos, Ana Carolina Araujo, and Italo Antonelli.
During speed dating, the initial focus was on Valmir and Maria Carolina, as they seem to be hitting it off immediately. But it is soon shown that Valmir was saying the same things to almost all the people that he had a chat. And while discussing their interactions, everyone realised what he was trying to do and it left a bad impression on Maria’s perspective. Thus, she decided to give a chance to other people and found another connection with Menandro.
Among the contestants that didn’t take much time to realise the spark between them were Bianca Sessa and Jarbas Andrade. Initially, Bianca was worried about even finding someone, with whom she can share her values and life. As she had a disability, and also being a mother – she wanted someone who would accept her son as their own. She found Jarbas on the same page, who also has a daughter & the same values confirmed the rest for them.

Another couple who got engaged was Ágata and Renan. The guy was also picked by Ana Carolina and she even tried to create a wedge between him & Ágata. However, that only worked in their favour as Renan was quick to assure her & even propose. They hit it off on common interests like dancing and family values. Meanwhile, after being refused by Maria, Valmir tried to connect with other ladies & found his connection with Karen. Using all his charm cards, he tried to win her over before she could choose another guy that she connected with, as well.
The last couple to find the connection was Daniel and Daniela Da Silva. Although Daniel was more inclined towards Patricia, who had a similar personality and lifestyle but one conversation about sex changed his mind. Even though it seemed like he was the one who started talking about sex and other things related to it, he didn’t like that Patricia actively participated in it. He believes that sex between potential partners should be discussed in private. When Daniela had the same response as his, that was possibly the moment that made his mind about her.
Therefore, the five couples that got engaged and moved to the honeymoon were: Bianca & Jarbas, Valmir & Karen, Maria & Menandro, Ágata & Renan, and Daniel & Daniela. The time spent in Pipa, in Rio Grande do Norte was mostly about physical compatibility and most of the couples goy intimate soon, except for Daniel’s. Apparently, Daniel had no issue with having sex on camera, it’s just the conversation that makes him uncomfortable.
Love Is Blind Brazil Season 3 Review (Episodes 1-4)
The show is quite hypocritical, it emphasises connection and personality over looks but eventually, the contestants are only concerned about their partner’s appearance. That’s why they only pick the better-looking lot of people, who speed date other good-looking people and worry about getting accepted for how they look. The preview for the next episodes showed some conflicts surfacing among the couples as they take their relationship into the real world.
At this point, anyone can guess that Valmir is definitely just playing around and his relationship is mostly sexual in nature, as compared to a deep connection rooted in creating a family. Even his boasting and howling every time after having sex was like an immature show-off, that maybe teenage boys (who don’t know better) might do in front of their friends.
The biggest hypocrite has to be Daniel, who was so proud of his ideology about keeping sex convo private but when the same ideology played out on him in reality, it was a bummer for him. Even though he repeated that he respected Daniela’s decision, he was visibly annoyed and it might come up later in arguments when they start living together.
