While Ro-um (Chun Woo-hee) was waiting for him, sitting on a pile of cash that she scammed out of the adoptive parents. In a rush, they throw out all the money in a room & even lock Ro-um inside. Yo-han makes his way inside & takes the beer out to drink together. Eventually, both of them pass out drunk, only to be found by Ro-um in the morning.
On the other hand, Ring-o is beaten up by some gangsters that he works for, as some kids ran away with the money that he had scammed from others. They think Ring-o is with them and interrogate him to give the money back. He is able to send an emergency signal to Da-jung before passing out from excessive beating and is taken to the hospital. But they follow him there as well & abduct him from the hospital.

Moo-young is hesitant to check out the content of the phone & just then, Ro-um’s hacker partner comes seeking his help to save Ring-o. Even though Ro-um was not concerned at first, she decides to pull some strings and help him get out of the dangerous situation. Along with other people, she traces the kids who ran away with money & kidnaps them.
On the other hand, Moo-young calls up to tell her that he is filing a missing report for Ring-o, so she shouldn’t do anything to the kids and let them go. Also, she should return the scammed money to the victims, before police trace them to her team. Put in a difficult situation, she does return the money & leaves the kids alone. But to save Ring-o, she scams the gangster himself. Pretending to be a prosecutor who found the lost money, she asks for his bank details to transfer the amount, in reality, she takes out all the money there was in the account.
Also, to ensure Ring-o’s safety, she tells them to send him to the prosecutor’s office to sign some papers, since he had reported for the lost money. This way, they take him out & even get the money. This might be one of the first situations where Ro-um had to do something to save a life. Otherwise, people are dispensable to her & she could always find a replacement if it wasn’t for Moo-young’s empathy and care.
However, Moo-young tricked her as well. He never went inside the police station & instead used the video on the phone to prosecute the parents for intently drowning the adopted son. With its help, he was able to provide justice to the mother and even make his mental condition better. The whole scenario leaves a deep impression on him & the episode ends with Moo-young asking Ro-um to let him join her team of scammers.
