Delightfully Deceitful Episode 6 puts Moo-young (Kim Dong-wook) in a difficult situation that might even cost him his career but he is determined to figure out what Ro-um (Chun Woo-hee) wants.
Starting with a flashback, it reveals how the foundation would use previous trauma and fears to make the Jeokmok kids do what they want. If Na-sa was beaten up a lot as a kid, then they would beat him to a pulp, so that he would comply with making a bomb/revolver or anything.
Ro-um recognised this pattern and survived long enough with them. This could also be one of the reasons behind her ignorance of other’s trouble & pain as she is only doing what is expected of her, regardless of the consequences.
Meanwhile, in the garage, Moo-young calms Na-sa down & tells him to shut the systems. Since the gambling den was underground, the police would not be able to find the entrance if they act normally. Probation officer Y-han also turns up at the scene, since Na-sa is also assigned to him. He is surprised to see the lawyer & moreover how he defends Na-sa.
Not being able to find any evidence they are forced to go back, however, to get them off their back, Moo-young gives them the address of a real gambling den nearby. He puts the blame on them by saying that Na-sa found them & in the fear of getting caught they made a false report.
In the bookstore, the remaining members of the team who work for Ring-o also reach there. It surprises everyone, as people dressed like them are still playing the cards, as they had set up. It turns out to be men set up by Moo-young’s ex-client, who was also caught in gambling. Ro-um is stunned to see how the lawyer was able to get everyone out of safety & even failed her double plan. She had actually made a deal with Park Jong-gu’s wife to send him to prison, on the account of gambling, embezzlement & fraud.

The next day, Moo-young visits Ro-um at her apartment and while they are talking about each other’s intentions, the police come looking for her. Ye Chung-sik was apparently murdered by Hong Chang-ki, who also worked at the foundation. After killing him, he named Ro-um as the conspirator who paid him to kill. Thus, for inciting murder she is arrested & interrogated. She refuses to say a word & when Moo-young visits her, she gives a piece of paper with some instructions to pass on to Ringo.
The deal between Ro-um & Jong-gu’s wife was to extract the same revolver that was used to kill her parents. The Wolgye company actually worked with the police in disposing of or transporting criminal evidence. Thus by disguising as the company workers, Ringo & his men replace the original revolver with a fake one. While trying to figure out why Ro-um would leave Na-sa to get arrested, he remembers how he was ordered to make the same revolver & even engraved his name on it.
We also get to know that the foundation deliberately separated the kids from their parents & when Ro-um’s parents insisted on taking her back, they met with a tragic fate. And all the Jeokmok kids were used in the operation, from tracking their location to making the weapon for killing. Thus, they somehow feel indebted to help her in her pursuit. However, things are a bit different this time with Moo-young’s involvement & even Ringo seeks his help with the revolver.
The police once again try to frame Ro-um for being the actual killer of her parents but she doesn’t say one word. Moo-young on the outside tries his best to get her out of the jail & when they come across Chang-ki for questioning, he steps back from his words & says that he killed Chung-sik on his own.
The money sent to him by Ro-um was just to get information about Chung-sik & he acted on his own accord. He also gives a cryptic message to Ro-um saying – Stay awake, I’ll be watching. This indicates that the foundation Chairman is behind it all, whose identity remains a mystery.
Ro-um was soon released from jail & straightaway meets up with Moo-young. Seeing her bag with the photos from the day of Geum-song murder & revolver there, she realises that Moo-young must have seen them. Seeing how he helped her despite everything, she agrees to let him join her cause of bringing Jeok-mok kids down. There’s another flashback which shows that Ro-um was also behind Moo-young’s father’s bankruptcy. Da-jung shares that he is Han Jae-seok son, and that might be the deciding factor behind her agreement as she might feel guilty for breaking Moo-young’s family.
