Delightfully Deceitful Episode 10 is all about reconciliation and pending apologies while making a plan for a better future. Directed by Lee Soo-hyun, the show is also known as Beneficial Fraud (이로운 사기) and is produced by Studio Dragon and Next Scene.

Delightfully Deceitful Episode 10 Recap
The episode starts with a past memory of Moo-young which he tells to his therapist, Mo Jae-in. He shares how his father would pour him a shot of Soju, even though he was a kid and would urge him to drink. It explains the kind of situation he was living in and the bankruptcy wasn’t the only thing that broke the family, it was in the ruins already. At present time, Ro-um starts living with Da-jeong at the comic book store and they try to adjust to each other’s lifestyle. While she is also trying to compile An Chae-hong’s ledger that she read, based on her memory.
From the information gathered, they form the team including Reporter Woo and the Prosecutor. There it is revealed that the deadline mentioned in the last episode was referring to the company going down. At its core, Navis is a Ponzi scheme and they are about to run away with all the investor’s money and at the helm of it will be Ma Kang-soo.
What they need is an informant, who would gather evidence against everyone involved before the company goes down. They come up with Yeon Tae-hoon, he is the father of Ho-jung and the one who was blogging about Darusa’s pyramid scheme. Moo-young and Ro-um try to persuade him to help but he refuses & it eerily reminds him of his own alcoholic father, who neglected the family.
On the other hand, the prosecutor that helped Moo-young as a kid tells him that he has found his father, who left him in the middle of the chaos. He wants to meet his son and Moo-young doesn’t know how to feel about it. When he lashes at Tae-hoon and gives up on him, Ro-um gives him a visit to know what is he up to.
Then he shares that the soju shot that his father poured him was actually laced with pesticide & that memory is ingrained in him, making him absolutely hate his father. To console him, she also shares that her parent’s return didn’t make her feel anything but that remembering how she liked ramen persuaded her to go with them. She pretended to like it for their sake since they couldn’t afford anything else, yet it was a vivid memory for her.

With Ma Kang-soo’s takeover of the company, Jang Kyung-ja feels anxious and lashes out at Jay for trying to find Ro-um again. He then reminds her how he has done everything for her. From making her husband’s murder look like suicide to helping keep her name out of the dirt. After talking with Ro-um, Moo-young decides to give another try to Tae-hoon and finally persuades him to become their informant. The team trains him to do everything and how to get close to Kang-soo, without a suspicion.
Probation officer Yo-han also tries to reconcile Na Su-ho with the rest of the team but that goes awry when Su-ho and Ro-um once again butt their head, instead of understanding each other. He walks out in anger and is shown meeting up with Kang-soo to join hands. Meanwhile, Ro-um thinks of giving a chance to Su-ho again & visits his garage, only to find someone unexpected. She then introduces the person to the team and it turns out to be Jay.
Delightfully Deceitful Episode 10 Review
As the show progresses, it’s evident that Ro-um might not be as emotionless, as everyone makes her to be. She did whatever could ensure her security at the foundation and with time, it’s imperative that she could have changed in the last 10 years. While the President’s identity remains a mystery, Jay’s inclusion poses a danger to everyone and if his intentions align with others or not will be revealed in the next episodes.
