Nineteen to Twenty Cast members became everyone’s favourite from the get-go, as their innocence and sincere feelings made everyone’s heart flutter. Hosted by Kyuhyun, Jeong Se-woon, Lee Su-hyun and Kim Ji-eun, the South Korean teen reality show is created by Sijak Company, written by Ji Hyun-sook and produced by Kim Su-a.
The show followed a group of 19-year-old South Korean teens, a week before they all turn 20 on New Year. Following what they learnt and the relationships they created, they were brought to live together in a house as 20-year-olds, for a week and with the ability to freely date anyone they like.
Meet the Nineteen to Twenty Cast
Moon Se-yeon
Moon Se-yeon was the first cast member introduced to the show. At the present time, he continues to play for the Jecheon City Hall table tennis team and recently concluded some of his matches. At first, he showed feelings towards Ye-rin and the scene where he gave a book to her became quite popular among the viewers. Later on, he formed a crush on the new transfer student Ji-woo and approached her with sincere feelings. However, he had her mind set on another cast member and he got rejected at last. At the reunion, he stated how he valued his friendship with Jung-yun more and is happy for him instead.
Jung Seo-yeong
Jung Seo-yeong was the only cast member who couldn’t find a connection on the show. Initially, she showed interest in Jimin but in the following days, he found himself getting attracted to another cast member. She tried to form a connection with Sang-won as well but that turned into an awkward situation that wasn’t less than a thriller drama. She is currently preparing to debut as an actor and instead became good friends with all the cast.
Oh Sang-won
Among everyone, Sang-won was the only one who had already enrolled in college and had been attending POSTECH — Pohang University of Science and Technology. From the start, he showed interest in Seo-hyeon and pursued her till the end. Although she also reciprocated his feelings but concluded that they would be better off as friends. At the reunion, everyone shared how he was the first person to connect with everyone and contacts often.
Choi Seo-hyeon
Seo-hyeon is studying to become an architect and became famous on the show for sharing that her friends call her the beauty queen of Sammyung High. She was mostly paired with Sang-won as they went on many dates together. Towards the end day, she expressed how she wanted to connect with Jung-yun but wasn’t able to, and even called him her first unrequited crush.
Lim Jung-yun
Preparing to be an actor, Jung-yun yet found it hard to express his true feeling to the person he was interested in – Ji-woo. However, his awkward shyness made many scenes hilarious to watch. At present, he is dating Ji-woo and learning to express his feelings freely.

Jeong Ji-woo
Entering the show as a transfer student, she stirred things up on the show. Aspiring to become an air hostess, she was initially interested in Ji-min and Jung-yun. Eventually, Se-yeon also developed feeling for her but she found herself majorly attracted to Jung-yun and tried to bring him out of his shell. Many felt frustrated along with her when Jung-yun was hesitant to give her the assurance but her tearful meltdown made the viewers fall for her charms. At the reunion, she confirmed to be dating Jung-yun happily.
Noh Hee-ji
Hee-ji was the ‘best friend that everyone needs’ on the show. Coming from an athletic background and interest, she wants to pursue a career in the same. Initially, she didn’t show much romantic interest in anyone, until Pyeong-seok became her seat partner. They had one of the most stable dating with eyes only for each other. Although in a long-distance relationship at the moment, they make sure to make every meetup memorable by going to the photo booth everytime.
Kim Pyeong-seok
Pyeong-seok entered the show as a new transfer student from Daegu and found a match in his seat partner, Hee-ji. He helps his family in running the hapkido centre and wants to become an instructor in the same. Due to his shy personality, Hee-ji helped him to get comfortable on the show initially, and in the process, they developed romantic feelings. They definitely brought a smile to everyone’s face with their drama-like teen love story. As evident from the picture, the couple is happily dating each other while in a long-distance relationship.
Lee Ji-min
Ji-min told in his introduction that he is interested in sports, has practised taekwondo and wants to become a sports instructor in future. He initially showed interest in Seo-yeong but things changed with Ji-woo’s entry in the show. He tried to make a connection with her but eventually found himself inclining over Ye-rin, while on a friendly date. He was the first person to ask his crush (Ye-rin) to officially date and become a couple on the show. However, it’s unclear if they are still dating each other. On his Instagram, he has posted pictures with Dex and MCs of Single’s Inferno, hinting at an appearance in the third season with other Nineteen to Twenty cast members.
Choi Ye-rin
Ye-rin had shared in her introduction that she wants to become an air hostess and how her heart has never really fluttered for a guy before. Yet she was the first one to feel it when Se-yeon expressed his interest in her. She mostly wanted to connect and date with him on the show but his feelings changed midway. While being casual friends with Jimin, they found themselves developing romantic feelings and eventually became a couple on the show. However, at the reunion, they kept their relationship status ambiguous and it can be presumed that they are taking it slow as of now or are just on friendly terms.
Nineteen to Twenty is currently streaming on Netflix.
