Along with Gang-yong, and his team of other detectives & a digital hacker, they invite Myeong-gil to their office for the contract signing & try to hack into his phone. Through the Wi-Fi setup, they are able to access the contents of his phone & destroy the hard drive kept in the safe by deploying the self-destruction mode. Through some hiccups, the drive gets destroyed along with the safe. However, what they don’t know is that the content of the drive is backed up in another laptop. And Myeong-gil waits for the right time to strike again.

He realises that only President Choi’s men could know about the safe, as Jang-do must have confessed to them. Thus they kidnap Mr Oh to lure Gun-woo and Woo-jin. While trying to search for him, they take Gang-yong’s help but another mole in the police informs Myeong-gil of all their plans. This confirms that Min-beom & the duo are conspiring together and he gets rid of Gang-yong’s team, as revenge. Myeong-gil then personally invites the duo to come to the fish farm alone, if they want to save Mr Oh.

Despite refusing many times, they had to take the Granddaughter, Da-min along to the farm. They drop her far off in the pretence that she should find a hiding spot to shoot arrows without getting caught, but they had planned to save Mr Oh before that. At the fish farm, they are obviously outnumbered by Myeong-gil’s men yet they are not able to stop Gun-woo & Woo-jin.

Seeing this, he resorts to threatening by placing a knife on Mr Oh’s neck and just then, Da-min shoots an arrow which lodges in his arm. After getting injured, Myeong-gil decides to run away to save his life. The police start an investigation against Smile Capital, as they find dead bodies on the farm and other scam rings run by them.

However, the video is still with him & it won’t get over unless Myeong-gil is captured. Therefore, the duo decide to take one last chance and chase after him to the boat, where he is taking all the slash fund gold bars to Vietnam. Im Jang-do helps them to get on the boat and soon they come across Myeong-gil & In-beom. After a strenuous fight, Gun-woo defeats Myeong-gil & Woo-jin beats In-beom down. In this last pursuit, Hong Min-beom had been helping him & Gang-yong had also pulled all the strings to get Myeong-gil arrested by Interpol when the boat lands in Vietnam.
