Delightfully Deceitful is titled 이로운 사기 in Korean, which literally translates to Beneficial Fraud. Directed by Lee Soo-hyun, it is an upcoming crime revenge drama set to be broadcasted on tvN. Produced by Studio dragon and Next scene, the K-Drama will take the slot of Family: The Unbreakable Bond.
With this show, Kim Dong-wook will be headlining two drama – one on tvN, and the other ie My Perfect Stranger on KBS, on the same days ie Monday – Tuesday. Also, actress Chun Woo-hee will be seen in a new badass character, playing a role of a manipulative scam artist.

Delightfully Deceitful Plot
The story will follow two individuals with completely different personalities. Lee Ro-woom is a genius who at the age of 5 memorized the complete encyclopedia, and at 8, got the attention of the media. At 10, she was selected by the Red Eye Scholarship Foundation. There, Ro-woom was taught to choose efficiency over emotion, control over compassion, and revenge over forgiveness. Repay what you receive, and do not have feelings or regrets for others.
While Han Moo-young is a lawyer who become emotionally invested in every client, due to his overly empathetic nature. He is hired by Lee Ro-woom to help her win a case for which she was wrongfully indicted. But Moo-young thinks there’s more to the case & Ro-woom, who seem to be hiding a painful past behind her genius scammer farce.
Together they will be working on the case, where the contrasting personalities will clash but eventually they are working to find out the truth. Will Moo-young show her a legal way to get revenge or will he change his strict ways under her influence? A swindler’s way of fraud VS an attorney’s way of law, they will team up to form an unlikely alliance.
Delightfully Deceitful Release Date and Trailer
The drama is set to be released on May 29, 2023 and will be running till July 18, 2023, with 16 episodes in total.
Delightfully Deceitful will be broadcasted at 08:50 PM KST on tvN and will be available on Viu for streaming.
