King the Land Episode 7 Preview reveals Gu-won (Lee Jun-ho) and Cheon Sa-rang (Im Yoon-a) having a date at her home when he drops by to check on her. Seeing him so close to his childhood friend, with whom he is rumoured to get married in future, bringing two powerful families together disappoints her. She feels that Gu-won is just playing with her feelings and must have asked her out for a date, without having any actual feelings for her.
She questions him if the girl was his girlfriend when he denies having any such relationship, she gets mad at him for hugging her. She asks why he even got so close to someone when he doesn’t have such feelings. Meanwhile, at work, Sa-rang is seen having a press conference with Hwa-ran regarding the incident, where she went missing in the mountains. It seems like Gu-won’s sister is taking all the credit for rescue and that makes Gu-won’s assistant tell him to gain some power so that he can protect his employees or stop their exploitation.

This makes Gu-won determined to show what he is capable of and takes on the task to get an Arabian prince on board for a project. Once again, Sa-rang is put in charge of taking care of the high-profile guest and is seen welcoming him with the biggest smile. On the other hand, Gu-won tries to know what’s going on in Sa-rang’s mind and if she even feels the same for him.
When he asks whys he never thinks about him, she slyly replies that she never said that she didn’t think of him. Gu-won is seen helping her at King the Land lounge in setting up the tables and says that this is his way of showing his sincerity towards Sa-rang.

King the Land Episode 6 Recap
In King the Land episode 6, Gu-won makes a scene at the hotel to rescue Sa-rang from the mountains. He needs a helicopter to reach the location quickly but his sister refuses to permit him to use it for a mere employee. Regardless, he takes the helicopter and rescues her on time. This gives Gu-won and Sa-rang to spend some time together in the countryside and even win the favour of their supplier to keep on supporting them, over their competitors.
On the way back, Gu-won also gives a visit to Sa-rang’s grandmother and has an overall good time helping around and doing simple things that he never did before. He even asks her out on a date and she doesn’t seem appalled by his suggestion. But when she sees him with another girl, who is rumoured to become his wife in future, she feels conflicted about Gu-won’s feelings and if he even means it.

King the Land Episode 7 will be released on July 8, 2023, at 10:30 PM KST on JTBC and TVING. It is also available for streaming on Netflix in selective regions.
