Revenant Episode 3 Preview shows that police officers Lee Hong-sae (Hong Kyung) and Seo Mun-chun (Kim Won-hae) find another eerie similarity between the cases where the victims allegedly took their own lives. Before taking the extreme stem, they all heard the same voice – the clacking of a women’s heel. Who could be this mysterious woman is not shown though.
Meanwhile, Gu San-yeong (Kim Tae-ri) and Yeom Hae-sang (Oh Jung-se) try to find the place called Jeong Jin-ri so that they can locate the origin of that red hair accessory that is used to transfer the evil spirit to the other person. However, a lot has changed in the past few years and what used to be a village is now a developed area with no markings similar to the map in the notebook.

They try to get more information about the place with the help of elderly people, who have seen the place develop from a village. What they are looking for is the tree, where the ritual was performed that ended up creating that evil spirit. They need to find the tree or the same place where the tree used to be, in order to get rid of the spirit.
Meanwhile, more people seem to get hurt because of the spirit and even the police officers start wondering why they find Sang-yeong and Hae-sang at every crime scene. In order to stop more people from getting hurt, San-yeong is determined to go to any extent and get rid of the spirit, whether Hae-sang helps her or not.
Revenant Episode 2
In episode 2, it is revealed that Jung Hyun-woo’s spirit was only trying to protect his little sister that was locked up by her parents. He wanted to rescue the little girl and with San-yeong and Hae-sang’s help, the truth is finally revealed. It was not the ghost but an actual girl who used to cry in fear and pain. The parents are arrested by the police and Hyun-woo’s spirit finally crosses over to the other side.
San-yeong strongly denies the existence of ghosts of any type but when she gets the vision of the spirit attacking her grandmother, she has no choice but to believe. The grandmother is barely saved by Hae-sang as he was trying to find the origin of the red hair accessory, which he saw in his mother’s hand as well.

Revenant Episode 3 is scheduled to be released on June 30, 2023, on SBS at 10 PM KST, every Friday and Saturday. It is also available for streaming on Disney+.
