See You In My 19th Life Trailer reveals the first encounter between the lead characters, who may have a connection to the past. The upcoming fantasy romance drama is based on a popular webtoon of the same name (이번 생도 잘 부탁해) by Lee Hey and is directed by Lee Na-jung, while the screenplay is adapted by Choi Young-lim. With 12 episodes in total, it will take the place of the weekend drama slot on tvN, in the coming weeks.
The ensemble cast of the series includes Shin Hye-sun as Ban Ji-eum / Yoon Ju-won, Ahn Bo-hyun as Moon Seo-ha, Ha Yoon-kyung as Yoon Cho-won, Ahn Dong-goo as Ha Do-yoon, Ryu Hae-joon as Lee Ji-seok, Lee Chae-min as Kang Min-ki, Choi Jin-ho as Moon Jeong-hun, Park So-yi as young Ban Ji-eum, Kim Si-a as young Yoon Joo-won and others.
The series will follow the story of a unique girl named Ban Ji-eum, who remembers all the past lives that she has lived so far. Currently, in her 19th life, she is trying to find and reconnect with the person from her 18th life, as they got separated due to an unforeseen accident.
The trailer shows the point in the story where Ban Ji-eum is ready to face Moon Seo-ha, whom she briefly knew in her last life, as a kid. She has come to his office to get a job but for some reason, he feels a sense of familiarity with Ji-eum, despite meeting her for the first time. He even asks her if they have met before.

While we don’t see Ji-eum answering the question directly, in her mind she replies yes and wants to ask him the same question that she asked him as a kid – does he believe in past lives? The video transitions to a flashback where young Seo-ha is standing in front of Ju-won (aka past life of Ji-eum). Seo-ha asks her back if she believes in it and Ju-won replies, ‘Yes, because I remember my past life’.

Ji-eum wants to say the same exact thing so that Seo-ha can realise that she is the same exact girl from his childhood. But she is not able to tell everything to him yet since her sole person in this life was to meet him again. On the other hand, he is wondering why he is reminded of Ju-won, even though it’s evident that she is a different person entirely.
The K-Drama is scheduled to be released on June 17, 2023, on tvN and will also be available for streaming on Netflix.
